Stergios Koias has been active and collaborating with notable musicians and on-stage ensembles since 1998 giving concerts in Greece, Europe and far Asia.
As a key member of the bands "The Speakeasies' Swing Band!", Global Vibe, Nasa Funk, Revans, and Christos El Papadopoulos quintet, and touring festivals in Greece in Italy, England, France, Belgium, Denmark. distant Thailand, Bahrain in Arabia, has participated in many jazz and swing music scenes around the world. As at “Summer Jamboree” Italy, at “Hep Cats Holidays” UK, Copenhagen Lindy exchange festival, “Bansko Jazz Festival” Bulgaria “Diga Diga Doo” festival in Bangkok, Thailand ,. Jyvazik festival Brussels, Bahrain jazz festival and more.
With performances as a session musician, he has collaborated with the Kalamaria Symphony Orchestra, with artists such as Costas Bravakis, Katerina Makavou, Giannis Mitsis, Vaso Vassiliadou, Kostas Matsigos, Sakis Zachariadis, Gioyla Michail, Natassa Mare Moumtzidou, and Manos Kourtis in bands like Soul Fire, Mary Doutsi & the swingers, Maria Elbrus, NASA FUNK, Bluebeat company, Milky lady & the cookies, Dixie Fried, Electric Blue, King Be and more
But part of his artistic activity has been theatrical collaborations since 2004, such as with the NTNG (National Theater of Northern Greece) in the orchestra of the performance "A Comedy" in music by Yuri Stupel and directed by Giorgos Remountos. At NTNG with the rock opera "ALEXANDER THE GREAT" by Konstantinos Athiridis. In 2014 he was a member of the orchestra in the musical “DORIAN GRAY” directed by Anda Cesmeli. At the Athens and Epidaurus Festival, he participated in the Homesickness Blues music performance by Costas Vomvolos, At the Thessaloniki Concert Hall in a children's play "The Real Gifts of Santa Claus" directed by Stella Michailidou and music by Costas Vomvolos. As well as participating in the orchestra of the theatrical soloist "Down by the rock law" by Kostas Gakidis.
